GLYN BAILEY

Composer, Lyricist, Book Writer

Glyn is originally from Nottingham, England. He is a graduate of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, England and holds several degrees, including an MA in Performance and a BMus in Composition.

He is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.

Glyn now runs his own entertainment agency, but his performing career includes a three-year stint in the original London production of EVITA, directed by Hal Prince and a highly successful career in the luxury cruise ship industry as a headline performer and cruise director.

Glyn’s musical talent is now firmly focused on composition. SCANDALOUS! is the result of his passion for musical theatre and his fascination with the life and work of one of England’s greatest novelists - D.H. Lawrence.

THEASA TUOHY

Book Writer

Theasa is a long-time daily journalist who has written two full-length plays, THE PRODIGAL DAUGHTER and UP THE NEW YORK TIMES and a novel, THE FIVE O’CLOCK FOLLIES.

Theasa graduated from the University of California at Berkeley and studied at Columbia University and at HB Studios in New York. She is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America.

RICKI HOLMES

Orchestrator

Ricki is originally from Nottingham, England. He studied classical piano before turning to jazz studies

at Leeds College of Music, where he excelled as an arranger, composer and pianist.

In the mid 1980’s, he moved to the United States, where he established himself as a highly successful freelance music arranger and conductor for some of the biggest names in show business.

Ricki is also actively involved in creating and arranging shows for many of the world’s most prestigious cruise lines. He is a Licentiate of the Guildhall School of Music.

KEITH THOMAS

Book Writer

Keith is a graduate in Musical Theatre of Guildford School of Acting, England where he studied performance and directing. In his early career he performed in various productions in the UK.

His numerous directing credits include FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, CABARET, JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL, TITANIC THE MUSICAL, BILLY LIAR and RASHOMON, as well as TV adaptations of Shakespeare's ROMEO & JULIET, TWELFTH NIGHT and MERCHANT OF VENICE.


Keith directed the original concert version of SCANDALOUS! and subsequently became co-book writer.

In 2008 he directed the concert production at Nottingham Playhouse, England - and in 2009 he designed the production in New Orleans.

As a Media producer, Keith has created over fifty television commercials and written and directed hundreds of business communication and training DVDs.

STEPHEN DUCKHAM

Director - USA premiere

Stephen is an established director of musicals in the UK, Europe and USA. His premiers include:

TWO BY TWO, PIPE DREAM, WALKING HAPPY, OLYMPUS ON MY MIND, RUTHLESS, ANNIE WARBUCKS, SUMMER MADNESS, CHILD OF THE JAGO and MEN OF MAGIC.

He recently collaborated with writer Laurie Hornsby on the musical VALENTINO - based on the life of the first screen superstar, which he directed in the UK last year.

Stephen has written twelve Pantomimes: very British traditional shows performed during Christmas. His latest, SLEEPING BEAUTY, was seen in London’s West End in 2009.

After directing SCANDALOUS! in New Orleans, Stephen went on to direct the musical THE FULL MONTY and his new version of ROBINSON CRUSOE, both in the UK.
